List of the World Most Corrupt Countries in 2025: The list of which countries in the world are the most corrupt and which are honest has been released. Research on a total of 180 countries has revealed shocking revelations. Transparency International on Tuesday released the list of the Corruption Perception Index, which ranks the most corrupt and most honest countries. The report was released by Transparency International Berlin, with points ranging from zero to 100.
That is, the country that has taken the highest number out of 100, the honest and the country that takes the lowest marks is among the most corrupt countries. The special thing in the report is that 2/3 of the countries have fewer than 50 numbers. That is, corruption in these countries is at the extreme.

Transparency International recently released its 2024 Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI). This index ranks 180 countries based on the perceived levels of public sector corruption. Here are the top 10 most corrupt countries according to the latest report:

The Most Honest Country
Among the most honest countries, according to the report
- Denmark is first with 90 points
- Finland is second with 88 points

- New Zealand (83)
- Luxembourg (81)
- Norway (81)
- Switzerland (81)
- Sweden, Netherlands (78)
- Australia (77)

The Most Corrupt Countries
South Sudan is number one on the list of the most corrupt countries.
- South Sudan has received eight points out of 100.
- Somalia is second in corruption with nine points.
- Venezuela is third with ten points.
- Syria got 12 points
- Yemen, Libya, Equatorial Guinea and Eritrea got 13 points.
- Bar Nicaragua, Sudan, North Korea and Myanmar are on the list of the most corrupt countries.
Pakistan’s Rank in Corruption
In the corruption index, India’s neighboring country is far ahead in terms of corruption. Pakistan got 100 points out of 27. That is, there is no limit to corruption in Pakistan, which is living in muflisi. The result of hunger, rising inflation and increasing turmoil in the government is that Pakistan stands at number 27 among corrupt countries.
- Bangladesh, with 23 points, is in 151st position
- Sri Lanka got 32 points and is in 121st position.

Position of India
In the list of the Corruption Perception Index, India got 100 out of 38 points. That is, there is corruption here, but India’s ranking is far above Pakistan’s. India’s position is at Number 96 in the list of the Corruption Perception Index. Apart from this, the neighboring country, China, with 42 points, is in 76th place in the ranking.
