US News College Rankings 2025: Check List of Top Universities here on this page. US News and World Report released its scores for nearly 1,500 colleges and universities in the US for 2025. There are different groups for different types of schools, such as the best public schools, the best historically black colleges and universities, and the best workers on social mobility. US News says that when choosing a college, you should look at these rankings along with other details.
Today, US News and World Report released its annual list of the best schools and universities in the country. This list can help people who are thinking about going to college. The ranking looks at up to 17 academic quality indicators to rate almost 1,500 schools and universities. US News stopped publishing its print news magazine in 2010, but its annual college rankings still bring in millions of dollars for the company because universities pay license fees to have their school listed.
US News, on the other hand, says that its business relationships with schools do not change its ratings.
US News said that people who visit its website should “strongly” consider the rankings along with other information from US News and other sources, as well as their own personal interests and goals, when choosing where to apply to and attend college.
