Rajasthan District List 2025: New Districts, Area & Population. The government of Rajasthan has taken a big decision. The Rajasthan government has cancelled 9 districts and three new divisions created under the Gehlot government. Rajasthan will now have 41 districts and 7 divisions. The new districts that the state government has cancelled include Jaipur Rural, Jodhpur rural, Dudu, Kekadi, Shahpura, neemkathana, Anupgarh, Gangapur City and Sanchore.
Out of the 17 new districts in Rajasthan, only 8 are Balotra, Didwana, Faludi, salumber, Khairthal-Tijara, Deeg, Kotputli-bahrod and Beawar. Now there will be a total of 41 new districts in Rajasthan. The government says that the review committee for the new districts found that these districts have no utility. The government then decided to cancel out 17 of the 9 new districts.
