India Pakistan Border Name List 2025: List Of Indian States And Union Territories That Share Border With Pakistan. International border is called international border in Hindi. This is the actual boundary line of two countries on which there is no dispute of any kind. It is recognized by all countries, including both countries. The LOC is also along the international border between India and Pakistan.
At the time of partition of India, Pakistan’s Army penetrated deep into Jammu and Kashmir by attacking Kashmir through kabylies. The Indian Army also began to respond to the attack and launched a war campaign to completely free the entire Kashmir from kabylies.
But with Jawaharlal Nehru’s departure to the UN, Jammu and Kashmir was divided into 2 parts due to the declaration of a ceasefire. One went under the occupation of Pakistan and the other remained as far as India had redeemed the occupation. The status quo was first referred to as the ceasefire line and later as the ‘line of control’ under the Shimla Agreement in 1972.
