Delhi Nursery Admission 2025 List: The registration process for nursery admissions in private schools in Delhi has ended. The first general admissions list will be published on January 17, 2025. This time there are more registrations than last year.
Around 1,741 private schools in Delhi completed the nursery admissions process for the 2025–26 academic session on Friday. The Directorate of Education (Doe), government of Delhi, announced in a circular on November 12 that the last date for submission of registration forms is December 20. The first general admission list will be published on January 17, 2025.
Details of all selected students must be uploaded by January 1
The education department has directed schools to upload details of all selected applicants by January 1, 2025.
Private schools are required to reserve 25 percent of their seats for economically weaker sections (EWS), disadvantaged groups (DGs) and children with disabilities. According to the circular, separate entry lists will be published for these categories.

The Department of Education has also specified age limits for admission. As of March 31, 2025, children must be aged at least three years for nursery, four years for KG, and five years for Class 1. The upper age limit is under four years for nursery, under five years for KG, and under six years for Class 1.
The second list of selected students, along with the allotted marks, will be released on February 3, 2025. Subsequent admissions lists, if any, will be published on February 26, 2025. The circular states that parents can approach school heads with admissions questions from January 18 to January 27, 2025, after the first list is released, and after the second list is published, grandparents can visit schools from February 5 to February 11.
The admission process, including parental visits for the allocation of questions and marks, will conclude on February 14, 2025.
