WPL 2025 Schedule: Dates and Full List of Matches. The third edition of the women’s Premier League 2025 will begin on February 14. The board of control for cricket in India (BCCI) on Thursday announced the schedule of the WPL. For the first time, this league will be held in four cities. These include Baroda, Bengaluru, Mumbai and Lucknow.

A total of 22 matches will be played in the tournament
The tournament features a total of five teams. All teams will play 2-2 matches against each other. In this way, a team will play a total of eight matches. A total of 22 matches will be played in the tournament. From February 14 to March 11, 20 league stage matches will be played. Interestingly, this time there will not be a double header on any day; that is, two matches will not be played on a single day.
First match between Gujarat and RCB
WPL 2025 will begin at the newly constructed BCA Stadium in Baroda. The first match will be played between the Gujarat Giants and reigning champions Royal Challengers Bangalore. Both Baroda and Lucknow will host the league for the first time while Mumbai has returned to the venue list. WPL 2024 was held in Bengaluru and New Delhi.
Final in Mumbai
The final of the tournament will be played at Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai on March 15. Defending champions RCB’s first home match will take place on February 21 at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, where they will face former champions the Mumbai Indians.
Four matches to be played in Lucknow
Lucknow, which is hosting the league for the first time, will host four matches of the home team-up Warriors from March three. The final phase of the tournament will take place in Mumbai with the prestigious Cricket Club of India (CCI) hosting the final two league matches and two play-off matches—eliminator (March 13) and final, the release said.
A match will be played each day
The teams at the top of the table will advance directly to the final, while the second and third-placed teams will meet in eliminators to contest the final. There will be a single match each day, continuing the format of the previous season.
