UP Holiday List 2025: The Uttar Pradesh government has announced public holidays in 2025. According to the calendar issued by the government, most of the holidays this year are going to be on working days. These include Holi, Eid, Ram Navami to Diwali, Janmashtami, Christmas Day and many other holidays. There will be a total of 24 public holidays and 31 holidays throughout the year.

In the order issued by the government, it has been said that if a festival, national festival or the birth date of great personalities falls on the same day, then in such a situation there will be a holiday on the same day. In lieu of that, a two-day holiday will not be declared.

In the list of holidays issued by the Uttar Pradesh government, a holiday has been declared on Tuesday, January 14, on the occasion of Hazrat Ali’s birthday. While there will be a holiday on Republic Day on 26 January.

According to the list, Mahashivratri will be on 26 February, Holika Dahan on 13 March, Holi on 14 March, and Eid ul Fitr on 31 March. Ram Navami on April 6, Mahavir Jayanti on April 10, Ambedkar Jayanti on April 14, Good Friday on April 18, Buddha Purnima on May 12, Bakrid on June 7, Muharram on July 6, Raksha Bandhan on August 9, Independence Day on August 15, Janmashtami on August 16, and Eid-e-Milad on September 5.
