Triumph Speed 400 Price List: Triumph Motorcycles India has launched its third product in the 400cc motorcycle segment in the country, the Speed T4. Triumph’s new motorcycle is based on the Speed 400 and comes with a new modern-classic look with retro elements. The company has fixed the price of the Triumph Speed T4 at Rs 2.17 lakh (ex-showroom) in the Indian market. And it competes with retro-style motorcycles in the 350-500cc segment.
The new Triumph motorcycle gets many elements, like a redesigned fuel tank with graphics, a revised seat, and new bar-end mirrors. The new motorcycle shares its platform with the Speed 400. The overall design is more retro and tries to bring a fun look to the bike.
The new Triumph Speed T4 bike gets a 398 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. The engine produces 30.6 bhp of power and 36 Nm of peak torque. This engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. This engine was tuned for less torque. The company said that 85 percent of the torque becomes available at 2,500 rpm.
Triumph said that the engine generates high torque between 3500 and 5500 rpm. Which increases low to medium speed ridability with reduced gear shift. This is achieved by increasing engine inertia by up to 400 percent compared to the Speed 30 to bring stability at lower rpm.
