In a notification issued by the district collector Rashmi Siddharth Aikade in this regard: on 15th (Wednesday) Thiruvalluvar day and 26th (Sunday) Republic Day, all Tasmac (SQ1) liquor retail shops and allied bars in Chennai district under Tamil Nadu liquor retail (shops and bars) Rules, 2003, Rule 12 and Tamil Nadu liquor (license and permit) rules, 1981 rule 2511 (SQ2) bars belonging to licensed clubs, FL3 license, with the hotel and based on the bars, and FL3(A), FL3(A) and in FL11 in the license, with the bars all must be shut down.
- January 15, 2025, will be holiday and Tasmac shops will remain closed.
- 26th (Sunday) Republic Day 2025, all tasmac shops will remain closed.
