It is feared that all but two people died in the accident. However, 151 passengers have been confirmed dead so far. According to information, the plane was returning from Bangkok. There were 175 passengers on board. It also carried six crew members. According to the emergency office, the aircraft descended from the runway and hit a wall, after which it caught fire.
According to the information, this aircraft belonged to Jeju Air and was a Boeing 737-800. Rescue officials were attempting to evacuate the passengers from the aircraft after the fire was extinguished. Officials in the case said the cause of the fire was being investigated. The accident follows a plane crash in Kazakhstan a few days ago in which 67 of the 38 occupants died.
The incident occurred at 9:07 a.m., when a Jeju Air plane took off the runway during landing and hit a fence at Musan International Airport in Muan County, about 288 kilometers southwest of Seoul. 47 dead bodies were found in the rear of the aircraft. A total of 151 bodies have been recovered. The death toll is expected to rise.

The flight was attempting a crash landing due to a malfunction in the landing gear, airport officials said. Its first landing attempt had failed. It appears the aircraft failed to reduce its speed to the end of the runway and hit the wall on the outer edge of the airport.
