The upcoming tournament is scheduled to take place from January 9, 2025, to February 8, 2025. Sunrisers Eastern Cape will be aiming for their third consecutive title win in the CSA T20 League, while Joburg Super Kings, MI Cape Town, Pretoria Capitals, Paarl Royals, and Durban’s Super Giants will be determined to break their winning streak.

The Sunrisers Eastern Cape, as defending champions, have made sure to keep the core of their title-winning squad intact. In addition, they have made some strategic pre-signings by adding three overseas players to their roster. Several other teams have also made some notable retentions and successful signings.
