Oscars 2025 Full Shortlist: Wicked, Emilia Perez Lead The Race. Wednesday morning’s 97th Academy Awards 2025 shortlist included 10 categories. The UK-coproduced Santosh, India’s official entry this year, made the Best International Feature Film shortlist. Laapataa Ladies is out. Guneet Monga, who won an Oscar for her documentary The Elephant Whisperers, entered the short list again with live-action short Anuja. The film addresses garment workers child labor.

Wicked and Emilia Perez, a French musical criminal comedy, lead the race.
