What is the Mayan Samman scheme?

The Jharkhand government is implementing the Mayyan Samman Yojana to improve the economic status of women. Under this scheme, women in need are given financial assistance worth ₹2500 every month. The aim is to make women self-reliant so that they do not depend on anyone to meet their minor needs. There are around 57 lakh women registered under the scheme who have so far received the benefit of 8 installments.

Now the amount of the 9th and 10th installments will be provided simultaneously to the beneficiary women in two phases. Women who have not received the 6th, 7th, and 8th installments can get a total support amount of Rs 12,500 this time, which will also include the 9th and 10th installments. Objectives Mukhyamantri Maiyan Samman Yojana

The main objective of Jharkhand Maiya Samman Yojana is to provide financial help to the poor women of the state. Under this scheme, women will be given help worth ₹2500 every month, which will be ₹30,000 annually. We will directly transfer this amount to the women’s bank accounts.

The goal of this economic aid is for women to pay attention to their health, nutrition, and hygiene and become self-reliant. This will allow women to improve their quality of life with respect.

To extend the benefits of the scheme to women as soon as possible, the Jharkhand government had started taking offline applications from August 1 , which lasted until August 10. After this, all the applications were examined by August 15, and on August 16, the amount was sent by Chief Minister Hemant Soren to the bank accounts of the beneficiary women .

There is great news for the beneficiary women under the Mayaan Samman Yojana. The government has released the 9th and 10th installments of the Mayaan Samman Yojana. All the beneficiary women are going to get an assistance of ₹21,500 from May, which will include the amount for the months of April and May, i.e., the 9th and 10th installments. The current installment is the first phase of the scheme in which women from the first 12 districts will be given a total financial assistance of ₹5000. The second phase will provide benefits to women from 12 other districts.

For information, all women would like to be informed that the first phase of the Maiya Samman Yojana ₹5000 installment will begin today, in which lakhs of women will be provided assistance in the form of 9th and 10th installments. • The applicant should be a permanent resident of the state of Jharkhand.
• For this, the woman must be between 18 years and 50 years old.
• The scheme will benefit women whose applications have received approval.
• For this, it is necessary to have the right information in the application.
• The applicant should have a bank account linked to Aadhaar.
• If a member in the woman’s family is a government employee or income tax payer, then that woman will not get the benefit.
• For this, the annual income of the woman’s family should be less than two and a half lakh rupees, and the house should not have any other four-wheelers other than tractors.

• Now you have to log in by clicking on the option of “login” given on its home page.
• Now the option given is to click on ”Application and Payment Status.”
• Thereafter, click on the “Get OTP” option by entering the application number, mobile number, and captcha code in the given space.
• Next, enter and verify the received OTP.
• Once you complete this step, the payment details for the 9th and 10th installments will become visible.
