The state government of Uttar Pradesh is implementing the Kisan loan waiver scheme, which will waive the loans of all small and marginal farmers in the state. Note: The Uttar Pradesh government is not currently running any loan waiver programs. The Uttar Pradesh government last waived off loans up to Rs 1 lakh for farmers in the year 2017.
