CAT 2024 Toppers List: IIM Calcutta published the much-anticipated CAT 2024 results today. Participants in the November 24, 2024 Common Admission Test (CAT) can now view their scorecards at iimcat.ac.in. With the CAT result, IIM Calcutta revealed the topper list. Candidates with more than 95 percentiles can apply to top Indian management colleges.
The CAT is the entrance exam to IIMs and other top MBA institutes in India. The Indian Institute of Management rotates the CAT exam annually. Aspirants must score 99+ on the CAT to get into top IIMs. In addition to the CAT percentile, IIMs select and rank candidates based on their academic performance, relevant job experience, gender and academic diversity, and other characteristics. Of 3.29 lakh registered candidates, 1.19 lakh were female, 2.10 lakh were male, and 14 were transgender. The 2.93 lakh applicants included 1.07 lakh women, 1.86 lakh men, and 9* transsexual people. Fourteen candidates—13 men and 1 woman—met the 100 mark. Of these 14 perfect scorers, 13 are engineers and 1 is not.
