On March 16, 2024, the Election Commission of India (EC) released the dates for the next Lok Sabha elections. The Assam general elections are scheduled to take place in three stages beginning on April 19, 2024, as announced by the Election Commission. In Assam, elections will be conducted for 14 Lok Sabha seats. Beginning on March 16, 2024 in the evening, the model code of behavior will be followed through to the conclusion of the voting process on June 4, even after the polls close on April 19.
