List Of 26 Dead In Pahalgam Terror Attack: On Tuesday, militants opened fire on a group of visitors in Kashmir’s picturesque valleys, killing 26 and wounding many. This was one of the bloodiest civilian attacks in the region in recent years.
People from around India vacationed in Pahalgam’s meadows when the incident occurred. Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde revealed five victims were from the state.
On Tuesday, a 26-year-old Haryana Indian Navy lieutenant, who had married nearly a week before the attack, lost his life in Kashmir. The tragedy killed two Karnataka residents, two Kolkata residents, and a Pahalgam resident.
After the incident, Prime Minister Narendra Modi returned to India on Wednesday morning. Home Minister Amit Shah heads to Jammu & Kashmir to assess the situation.
ANI said that various state government leaders assisted in repatriating terror attack victims and visitors to their states after bringing their coffins to Srinagar airport.
