The third GEM Awards were held at The Lalit Ashok in Bengaluru on February 28, 2025, as part of Bengaluru GAFX, India’s biggest annual conference for the animation, VFX, and gaming sectors, backed by the Karnataka government. The awards were associated with Anime Times. Xbox and CyberPowerPC were GEM Awards 2025 industry partners.

Meghanath Reddy, IAS, of the Tamil Nadu Sports Development Authority, accepted it. Organizing the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s Trophy 2024 was a great success for the Tamil Nadu government, promoting esports and engaging school, college, government, public, and differently-abled audiences.
