Phulera Dooj (01 March 2025, Saturday):

The festival of Phulera Dooj is celebrated on the Dwitiya Tithi of Shukla Paksha of the Falgun month. Radha Rani and Lord Krishna are worshipped on this day. Phulera Dooj is also called Abujh Muhurat because auspicious works can be done on this day without seeing Muhurat.

Holashtaka initiation, Durga Ashtami fast (07 March 2025, Friday):

Holashtaka is observed eight days before Holi. Holashtaka is considered an inauspicious time in Hinduism. Auspicious actions are forbidden during this time. This year, Holashtak will start on 7th March and end on 13th March 2025.

Amalki Ekadashi (10 March 2025, Monday):

The Amalki Ekadashi fast is observed on the Ekadashi tithi of the Shukla Paksha of the month of Falgun. This fast is known as Amla Ekadashi. It is considered auspicious to worship the gooseberry tree along with Lord Vishnuji on this auspicious day.

Pradosh Vrat (11 March 2025, Tuesday):

In Hinduism, the day of Pradosh Vrat is considered dedicated to the worship of Lord Bholenath. The Pradosh fast is observed on the Trayodashi Tithi of the Shukla Paksha and Krishna Paksha of every month. In the month of March, the Bhoom Pradosh fast will be observed due to the day Tuesday on March 11.

Chhoti Holi, Holika Dahan (13 March 2025, Thursday)

The festival of Holi has great significance in Hinduism. Holika Dahan is performed every year on the evening of the Purnima Tithi of Shukla Paksha of the month of Falgun, and the next day Holi of Colors is played.

Holi, Phalgun Purnima, full moon eclipse (14 March 2025, Friday)

Holi will be celebrated on 14 March this year. On this day, there will also be a total lunar eclipse in many parts of the world, but in India this lunar eclipse will not be seen.

Bhalchandra Sankashti Chaturthi (17 March 2025, Monday)

The day of Sankashti Chaturthi that comes in each month is considered special for the worship of the first revered deity, Lord Ganesha. It is believed that by worshiping Ganesha, all the suffering of the seeker is destroyed.

Rang Panchami (19 March 2025, Wednesday)

Every year the festival of Rang Panchami is celebrated 5 days after Holi. This festival is especially celebrated in Madhya Pradesh,Maharashtra and Gujarat.

Sheetala Saptami (21 March 2025, Friday)

Sheetala Mata has been considered the goddess of cleanliness and health in Hinduism. On the day of Sheetala Saptami, a fast is observed and special dishes are offered to Mother Sheetala and this Prasad is accepted the next day.

Sheetla Ashtami, Basoda Puja (22 March 2025, Saturday)

Sheetla Ashtami, or Basoda, is celebrated on the day after the Sheetla Saptami fast. The bhog offered to Sheetla Mata is assumed on this special day. It is believed that by doing this, the seeker gets the boon of Health and freedom from health problems.

Papmochini Ekadashi (25 March 2025, Tuesday)

As per the Hindu Panchang, people of household life can observe the Papmochini Ekadashi fast on 25 March. The Papmochini Ekadashi fast is observed on the Ekadashi tithi of the Krishna Paksha of the Chaitra month. It is believed that by this fast, the seeker gets rid of all sins. On March 26, people of the Vaishnava sect can observe the papmochini Ekadashi fast.

Pradosh Vrat (27 March 2025, Thursday)

The Pradosh Vrat of Krishna Paksha of the Chaitra month will be observed on Thursday, 27 March 2025. This day is considered auspicious for worship of Shiva-Gauri.

Partial solar eclipse, Chaitra Amavasya (29 March 2025, Saturday)

Amavasya Tithi is of great importance in Hinduism. On this day, the works of Shraddha, tarpan and pinddan are performed for the soul peace of the fathers. A partial solar eclipse will also occur on this day, but it will not be seen in India.

Gudi Padwa, Chaitra Navratri commencement (30 March 2025, Sunday)

Gudi Padwa is celebrated on the Pratipada Tithi of Shukla Paksha of the month of Chaitra. This festival is celebrated with great pomp in Maharashtra. Chaitra Navratri will also begin from this day and will end on 7 March. In Chaitra Navratri, 9 forms of Goddess Durga are worshipped.

Matsya Jayanti (31st March 2025, Monday)

Matsya Jayanti Day is considered special for the worship of Lord Vishnu. It is celebrated on the Tritiya Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Chaitra month. According to beliefs, on this day, vishnuji took Matsya avatar and did the welfare of the whole world.
